Jonathan Markow is the executive director of Jasig, a global consortium of educational institutions and commercial affiliates supporting open source software development for higher education.

Previously, Jonathan managed enterprise software applications, data warehouse, and web development for Columbia University as assistant vice president of Columbia’s Administrative Information Services group.

Jonathan lives with his family in New York City, where he plays jazz piano as frequently as he possibly can, which is not nearly enough.
